What does Wuppertal actually taste like? Perhaps a bit like Frenzel Grapefruit liqueur: fresh, clear, surprisingly different. At a tasting in the EDEKA Centre Selders, customers were able to see for themselves.

Liqueur meets everyday life - and creates enthusiasm

A special encounter recently took place between weekend shopping and browsing the spirits shelves: Wuppertal-based founder Johannes Frenzel presented his Frenzel Grapefruit liqueur directly on site for the first time. Many customers took the opportunity to try the spirit - and were impressed by its fresh flavour and modern appearance.

„It was important to us not just to put a product on the shelves, but to engage in direct dialogue,“ says Johannes Frenzel. „The feedback from people here in the region is extremely valuable to us.“

A milestone: the first stand-up display in the market

A further step for the young brand: for the first time, Frenzel Grapefruit liqueur is also prominently displayed in EDEKA Selders with its own stand. This not only allows the liqueur to be tasted, but also visibly positions it as a regional gourmet product.

The liqueur impresses with its clear, fresh grapefruit flavour and can be used in a variety of ways: neat, on ice or as a base for modern drinks. Developed in Wuppertal, professionally bottled in Germany - with the aim of offering contemporary enjoyment for a new generation of spirits lovers.
